Theres basically one Islam. However people have come up with many versions of it , extreme, moderate , they just come up with something that suits them. its that simple. And its exactly and especially these people who think everyone else is wrong , and they're doing it exactly as Allah had wanted them to. Which is rather hilarious. :o

people need to take out their disctionaries and learn the meaning of the word moderate first. The same ppl jump up and down saying oh fundementalist only means someone who is following teh fundeamnetals..or yeah extremists are ppl who follow their faith extremely.
to me every muslim should be a moderate muslim, not to any extreme, whether becoming a puritanical fanatic or some sellout. I recall reading that to maintain a balance is what is asked of us. Thats why you can not be a hermit and leave your wordly responsibilities and relations behind.
Religion, observing it and practising it was not meant to be a burden which would impact your responsibilities in this world. some people take it upon themselves to be self declared defenders of the faith and go out and do anything and everything.
I would have had some respect for these self declared defenders of the faith if they had a dingdongs to write as much in their publications, yell as much in their speeches and mobilize their goons for protests when things like killing of black muslims in Nigeria was going unchecked.
Moderate muslims are in the middle, to one extreme is the sellout who is not following any aspect of his faith becase it would get in his way, and on the other hand are rabid power monger conspiracy theorists and their pawns and brainwashed masses.. the types who can come out in force and burn down restaurants because theya re offended by some idiotic cartoons, however seem to lose interest when it comes to things like ppl being butchered in Nigeria.

muslims are muslims…no one is perfect, we should not classify them from the most sinful to the least with some adjectives…but respect each other and encourage each other to keep on imporving our faith and practice of islam in peace…
