I hear aunties calling their husbands this all the time and Ive never heard of an actual place called Lalu Khet so was curious.

Different communities live in lalukhet(liaquatabad).Are they all known as lalukheti or does the term refer to certain ethnic community living over there?

lalu khet is a town/place in Karachi.

Lalu kheti / Lalu Kheti style implies that you are paindu / not in line with the general trend / it more specifically refers to the dressing style.

Not really. I gusess you have never been to inners or outers of Lalookhait . Did you ?

Lalookhait has Electronics shops where , top of the line and best of the world cutting edge technology can be bought.
Lalookhait has dress shops which sell dresses reflecting latest trends of the society.
Laloo khait has many , many small scale factories which produce many kinds of things.

Laloo khaiti does not reflect any kind of paindoo pana. Laloo khaiti awaam are very enlightined and many political movements which changed the course of history in Pakistan started from Laloo khait.

Laloo khait has produced many comedians , tv artists , hockey legends , big name journalists , cricket legends, poets , fiction writers , educators etc etc.
