Burqa, Pakistan is NOT fighting terror really - its given a safe haven to the Taliban and even you naach around on this forum in anger over it. Its clear that they cannot stand up to the Taliban, or they are giving covert support to it for alternate motives, but fact of the matter is, that if Pakistan wanted to get rid of these criminals, it could.
As for India taking the opportunity to take cheap shots at Pakistan, what else do you expect? Of course, they don't get the fact that if Pakistan falls to terrorists, they don't get to have a buffer zone against extremism anymore. And with the recent Mumbai bombing they're already getting a flavor of that.
India will always trash Pakistan any chance it gets. For Pakistanis to ever think that will change, is a fantasy. Pakistanis need to grow up, ignore what others are saying right now, and focus on their own national integrity and the protection of its own people. The Taliban ARE an enemy.

Indians don't know much about Pakistan. All of them depend on the media to build some picture of Pakistan. Plus, a lot of Indians are fighting to make ends meet. India has a lot of problems- much more than Pakistan hence. A large country is bound to have variation- so India is no exception to the fact. India has truly made some impressive gains, but there's uncontrollable population and poverty on the streets. Unusually, the golden period was when us, the Muslims ruled them. They had all of their impressive buildings like Taj Mehal and Lal Qila made during that period.

True.. Some Indians feel its their national duty to undermine Pakistan at every turn.
For example, a forum member mentioned how while Pakistani lobbies in the US tend to focus on Pak specific issues, Indian lobbies actively try to undermine anything that may be beneficial to Pakistan.

fact is we don't need to prove anything to anyone. player and spectator safety is paramount and so it makes all sense, in spite of the cost and the disappointment to move it out. This "axis" of evil is a US term and not shared by rest of the world ..... infact the center of terror is the the new kid in town ... "Pak- Afghan" .... every western power known (and capable of having a say in global affairs) has a special envoy for this region. Proof enough to show that what their concerns are . Now coming to the second part and India's role. Again you have overlooked the history of actions in the past. Let us take last ten years. In 1999 the "hardline" and "right wing" PM of India went to Pakistan to sign a peace deal. Now this was the guy whose party was not in power in the past and when they were in opposition they always opposed the governments policy of peace towards Pakistan. The reason they went for this peace deal was simple, India was having unprecedented growth in economy and for that the first and foremost thign was peace in teh region. That is why this step was taken in national interest. Have peace with Pakistan and sort out all pending issues through dialogue. Infact India found a willing partener in the new Pakistani government and Nawaz Sharief responded to teh offer. No while this was going on what was Pakistani army doing .... they were plannning an attack on India !!!!! And to rub the whole thing in the face ....... when Pakistani army did finally pull out ... Nawaz Sharief was blamed for pulling back under US pressure. Did no one in Pakistan ask what the hell was army doing in the first place when you have signed a peace deal with a country !!!!!
Later on in 2001 during the parliament attack and subseqently .... Pakistan made promises that they would take action against these groups like LeT .... what happened we are back to square one !!During 2001 US was getting involved in Iraq and did not want to shift its focus. Hence Pakistan in a way got away with it.This time everyones focus is in the region .... hence the added focus on Pakistan.
In any case had Pakistan acted against the "good taliban" like Baitullah Mehsud in good times when it was signing peace deals wih them, Pakistan would not be in the position it is today.
This all depends on the definition of what terror is.
The problem is terror is being described only from the America/Western World point of view.
When you look at a broad and unbiased version of terror then you will see its not just the Taliban who are terrorists but :-
the americans for all those they have slaughtered in iraq, afghanistan innocently and for their continued support to regimes which use terror to subjugate its citizens ie israel, afghanistan (you can also add india and pakistan to that list too)
india for its continual subjugation of minorities - and itscontinued support of RAW to interfere and destablise neighbours
pakistan for some of the atrocities commited in nwfp and balochistan and support of ISI who also interfere and destabilise neighbours.
one can get rid of the Taliban but neither india's or pakistan's problems or even america's will be solved. until the world leaders do not address the root causes of terror there wil be no let up.

Why should India cover for Pakistan. Pakistans problem by your admission is Pakistans own creation. YOu can blame CSI/RAW or whatever but in the end its is pakistanies who are doing it and they are the culprits in allowing this to happen.
