What If

OK Lets Assume Taleban participating in elections in pakistan and winning with big majority and implemented Sharia law

  1. all the male guppies will be having long beard and only wearing Salwar kammez
  2. female guppies wearing full head to toe burqa and all over 8 yrs sitting at home
  3. no TV, No internet, No Cinemas, :konfused:, what is the time pass for them
  4. can female guppie leave without going to a beauty parlour
  5. all crickets playing cricket with long beard and salwar kameez

Re: What If

None of the above points mentioned are part of “Sharia-e-Muhammadi

I care less for such pre-conceived notions and the beggage or garbage people carry around with the thought of sharia… and muslims being afraid of it…

Re: What If

AQ- but we are not talking about sane religious people coming in power in this hypothetical example that lakkis posted, we are talking about Taleban, and they have rather screwed up notions of what shariah is.

but then also, taleban will never win any elections in Pakistan.

Re: What If

No religous goverment will EVER be in power...its not even worth the thought. Pakistanis have modernised alot, the public won't tolerate such extreme invasion, they simply aint gona bother 2 vote!

Re: What If

Bohat yakeen se keh rahe ho :)

Please do let me what else will and will not happen in the future, I would love to get a glimpse before it even arrives :)

Re: What If

not only you but everyone in the world know it that Taleban can never win a elections, I'm just saying in case if it happens that what??

Re: What If

buy stock in burqa companies..

Re: What If

So if the moderates don't vote, that means someone else will.

Re: What If

6 million Jews supposedly paid with their lives because they were portrayed as evil…

Perhaps if you were a German living in Germany in the 30s would be a proud German if you had killed a few Jews for the Fatherland…

How many times have you been amongst the Taliban?

Re: What If

mushy jaye ga to koi aur power main aye ga na. filhal to yehi pagalkhana puray pakistan ko nigal janay main masroof hai :halo:

Re: What If

well dude..how many times have you been amongst the Taleban, or the jews in germany?

Are you telling me that Taleban dont have screwed up notions of shariah? really? suicide attacks against civilians allowed by shariah? or will u now say its was not taleban or their ideological brethren carrying out those attacks.

Re: What If

That's cause they would never take part in Elections. Why is it so hard for you people to understand. The only difference between them and the Maulana Diesel's groups is their methodology.

While one group has states that the Shariah cannot come accept by war, the other has accept Democracy as the route.

Re: What If

Is implementation of shariyah the duty of taliban only? And here, are u amused with the idea of taliban taking power in the country or any organisation that comes to implement shariyah in the exact sense of the term?

Re: What If

they are not going to take part because they know they will be rejected by majority afterall 'shriah-lite" proponents like MMA have not done so well anyways, thats why they want to take over by force.

Re: What If

well if its implemntation of shariah we are talking about then i dont think taleban are doing that in the exact sense of the word, they are implementing some version of taleban shariah. Now no one is amused at the idea of taleban taking over, the good thing is that aside from some backwater areas its not even a remote possibility.

Now for anyone else to implement the shariah in the exact sense of the word, first they have to prove that what they are proposing is infact shariah in the exact sense of the word. diff fiqhs need to agree on it. and same for diff offshoots.

Re: What If

what is so difficult to understand in this hypothetical situation?

if they participate in an election and win a majority, that means majority of the ppl support their agenda and want it implemented in pakistan. why else would they give them a majority?

and if they campaigned on the points you listed, then they would have a clear mandate to implement them.

Re: What If

Na tu ayege, na hi chain ayega.
So there should be definitely someone to awake you up with the pinching reality of fiqhs and etc. Sorry dudes. No Islam. No Shariyah. Only fiqhs. Right?

Re: What If

NO PROBLEM! :)

Re: What If

I'd never want to live under any religious government, its nobody's business how I practice my religion, as long as i'm not out attacking anybody
