Actually youth wants a change but old ones can not change & they still love in the good memories of past. In Pakistan most of the youngster give vote as per their father wish. You are quite right that there is some change but I know many youngsters who admit that current government is doing nothing but they ll vote to these culprits again :cobra:

Who are these MQM, PPI, JSQM, Lyari gang, SSP and everone else? Are they not from amongst us? It shows that we really want what we are getting, we need to change ourselves before demanding change in the system, establishment, puppets etc. You can blame the dirty game all you want but PPP is all part of the same dirty sh!t its only you who have closed your eyes and are living in times of ZAB.

End of your post is a bit confusing but anyway i am 1 million % sure that if IK had not included some old names then everyone would have still been saying that IK is a one man party even though he had some talented but unknown names even before Lahore jalsa but no one would have voted for them because they are unknown. Now IK has some well known politicians and unknown talented individuals and that's what he needs to bring the real change.
people who do not want to change the system and options will criticise Imran no matter what he does, if they have NOTHINGELSE to criticise they will still call him a Yahoodi agent and vote for their beloved Zardaris, Sharifs, Altafs etc
MG I was thinking same as you thinking now he disappointed me and thousands of others coz of his fool track changing. Specially he disapointed and lose the faith of religious minorities to shake hands with extremists. Well this thread not for this purpose. PPP still have a strong bank vote don't say IF they re elected there is strong facts that they are not gonna lose all in sudden in nxt election. They are governing now with alliance and how you know that and they could be ally for anyone in future for staying in power. Better accept realities rather then dreams.

Under the prevailing circumstances in Pakistan, one thinks that we have perhaps hit rock bottom. However, it occurred to me that there is one possible outcome in the future that could make the current situation in Pakistan look like a bed of roses. That unfortunate outcome will be if Zardari and PPP get elected to enslave us for five more years in the coming elections. I think nothing could be more depressing than the prospect of getting tortured for 5 more years.
People don't vote according to the performance of a party. Their votes go for the party representing their ethnicity best.
This is why there is all possibility that PPP will come back to power. Majority of Pakistan still will vote for them. This "majority" is Seraiki and Sindhi speaking people mostly.
Some time ago, I saw a show on a news channel in which a host went out and asked questions to people about how their elected members and govt. are doing in their eyes. People were cursing them left and right.
And when a subsequent question was asked that who they will vote for next time, their answer was for same people.
This was a sad sad thing to watch. I felt unbearable pain inside my chest. I was just short of doing "maatam".
Allah will not change the affairs of people whom themselves do not want to change. For a starter, a proper education and character building of the nation is in the order, but who will do that? The same people who are ruling the country are supposed to do that? This is the dilema.
I am anxiously waiting to get the procedure of casting vote by Pakistanies abroad. May be, my one vote will make a difference. The least I can do is to educate whom I interact with in person or through social media.

Well said. These scumbags have already started the procedure. It's a slow painful process. But because it's slow, we can still recover from it. All we need is courage and honesty.
