Hajj Mubarak

u don't need makeup to go to hajj. anyway,

What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Hajj mubarak! Inshallah would like to go with family soon, jab allah ki marzi ho. I think someone should make a thread on what women should and should not take to hajj or ummrah because alot of us people get confused in what we should wear etc, dont think i have seen a thread on here already.

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

But the title is so confusing.... "what I took with me on hajj". It should've been "what I took with my on vacation to Saudi Arabia".

I know I know I'm gonna be thrown at "oh don't you judge her" at me. lol

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

^ Yes, I agree that the title is misleading.

But even with that title, M wrote a crystal-clear explanation in the middle of the post. The placement sucks but it's still there. No reason for anyone to get stuck on the title after reading tthe ENTIRE post carefully.

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

When was the 4 day waterproof eyeliner for then?

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

lol, good one.

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Hajj Mubarak, M :) And welcome back.

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

…are you people for real? :smack:

I had liner on the day I got to makkah before I put on the ahram and couldn’t get it off and it stayed on 4 days until it wore off itself. AND FOR THE LAST TIME, I wore nothing but SPF and balm the whole time I was there DURING hajj. Clearly half of you didn’t read the part Paheli pointed that said IT WAS NOT USED DURING HAJJ and was brought along for AFTER hajj when I was supposed to be celebrating eid + meeting up with family. I also said how none of it got used anyway. Wow, the amount of bitter-laced posts on why I took makeup is just petty.

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Hajj Mubarak M! :)

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Thanks, Deeba! <3

OMG! Thank you for pointing this out. Not only men but women also had serious chaffing. Everyone in our group amongst the females had chaffing from wearing loose clothing and the sweating. I'd def. take anti-chaffing cream next time. :p

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

really ladies?
was it really that funny?

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Hajj Mubarak!

I am glad you decided to dress up for Eid after hajj.

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Hajj Mubarak to you. :)

What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Hajj Mubarak Emmmmmy!!! :hugz:

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

lol, didn't get to. Our eid was spent performing tawaf around the qabah so I was wearing comfy pjs under my abaya. In fact, thats what I pretty much lived in. I ended up getting a heat rash which stung very bad so thin cotton shirts were a must.

And thanks, everyone!

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Hajj Mubarak M!!! :hugz:

And to the rest of the replies… Really?
Perhaps before judging and passing your snide comments, you should read where M clearly explained she took the makeup for after Hajj (for Eid and when she meets Fam Bam.)

And even if she didn’t take the time to throw that disclaimer out there, who are we to pass judgements and make her feel bad? She did something that most Muslims spend their life wishing they could achieve. How about we congratulate her on that? :chai:

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Enough with portraying mwh as a victim please.....some posters probably misjudged her coz of the misleading title and the pics. No harm done.

Re: What I took with me on Hajj >.<

Congrats on Hajj ! :-)
