...train to 42nd st for LIR (Long Island Railroad) and from there to me uni. It takes abt two to two and half hrs if I catch the express trains. I am getting a car soon so it won't be that bad.

...or 90 minutes by the cab..

damn..are u rich? lol..that gets kinda expensive dont it? i spend $70 a month on an unlimited metro card..i dunno how ill deal wit having to shell out $84 for a monthly :rolleyes:

They do have special passes for students commuting to/from Long Island that costs abt one hundred twenty dollars. And as far as it's abt traveling in the city, you have to have a unlimeted metro no matter what. (God-damn Bush for raising the prices! - it used to be cheap 2 yrs ago)

..As long as all of these expenses are being paid by my parents, I really don't mind having them. :D

hah yeah…but i feel bad..i mean it sucks that transportaiton is one of the thingsyou have ot consider when choosing colleges…no way could i go somewhere in westchester or long island or jerzy…and don’t blame bush..blame idiot mta who havelike 6million vice prezidents for no reason whatsoever and just like to suck us dry. … :rolleyes:
