really disappointed to see pakistan out of WC. i was freaking waiting for this WC like 4 months before it started...and pakistan got outta WC that quick...... unbelievable..... bad effort by all the batsmen.... we got beated from a young team, Ireland...... Shameful to say the least.
Inzi should leave as a player as well, he has no point occupying number 5 or 6 spot and doing nothing. His feet hardly move on crease and with each day he is going to get worse and not any better.
Sorry figure of Woolmer should also be shown the door, no point paying him heavily in dollars when he is not producing any results.

But if you got fat Inzi who even eats out of his pocket when he is at the bowlers end not trying, then its not Woolmer's fault.
among other problems pak should also reconsider sending pak national team players to english county cricket.
lately whoever goes to play county comes back less capable than before. azhar mehmood looked like he forgot how to hold a bat today. rana lost his bowling after bowling countless batsmen on bowler friendly pitches in county. there are also other examples of late.
our domestic structure produced waqar, wasim and batsmen like miandad on dead pitches. unfortunately our desire to watch flashy batsmen comes in the way and more sensible technically correct batsmen are looked over. our bowling is fine... this was our second string bowling lineup which was upto par. we just need to find batsmen who can play 50 overs.. who are technically correct and have the right temperament for the game. not 20-20 tullay baaz. national team players oughta be barred from playing english county and 20-20.
it will be a good time to get rid of all the mullah influence out of the team. we got enough dim witted uneducated morons we dont need them running anything.. not even cricket.
I thought Bobby WoolovereyesMer was the saviour of pakistan cricket and a remarkable improvement over the abrasive miandad...where are all of Bobby's supporters who scoff at any mention of Miandad, even in of his batting achievement...what has woolmer given to Pakistan cricket...nothing...no major ODI tourneys, no overseas series win, not even against the pathetic windies...
The only blot on miandad's record was a solitary loss to India...and that's it, under him we beat South Africa for the very first time and beat New Zealand in New Zealand, which a more mightier team like India didn't manage around the same time....
So where are all the anglophiles and gori-chamrri's worshippers????
PS: nice thrashing of arm chair critics by an arm chair critic
Au Contraire, I said all of them will be justified. I always believe that the proof is really in the pudding. And this pudding is absolutely repulsive.
I still believe this loss has still not sunk in properly for most Pakistani supporters. Its not just embarassing. Its absolutely insulting. It will take at least a few days before we all understand how low we had fallen today. What we are seeing right now are just emotional reflex actions. The rage will build up over time.

Having watched all nine world cups so far, I will say that Pakistan's performance in this world cup was the most pathetic of all. Right from the moment they announced the squad the shambles began. Asif and Shoaib was in, than they were not in, then they became injured and all that. Razzaq decided to bat in the nets without pads and get himself injured, what was he thinking of. Afridi let his emotions get the better of him and not for the first time. As Faisal said the malaise was there and it came to the surface in the most ugly way, the most embarrassing way.
we sacked our team wholesale after the 2003 debacle which was not as embarrassing as this one. We were building a new team since than and all we heard during these last 4 years was rebuilding. The result, an even bigger embarrassment. Woolmer might be a very god coach but the bottom line is results and he has failed utterly to produce any good results. PCB has been in turmoil itself with chairman's changing and drama never far away. Where do we go from here?
We need wholesale changes not only in the team, but the whole cricket set up and also change in our attitude, we have got to get rid of this "our team is unpredictable" mentality and start building a team which believes in discipline and consistency in their approach.
Let's start with retiring Inzi. He has served Pakistan cricket very well but it is time for him to go now.
Win or lose is part of the game, but abject surrender and humiliation is not.

Ehsan Bhai,
I agree with u on all your points except for Inzi has served Pakistan well, pls qualify that as the Batsman only. As a captain, he is nuthing but an embarrassment, the sooner we acknowledge that and start believing it we will not make the same mistake again. Hopefully, Inshallah, God willing....
Well this has to be Pakistan's worst-ever World Cup performance, upstaging even that pathetic display in 2003. And I won't be the least bit surprised if this demoralised bunch (who can't handle pressure at the best of times) now goes on to lose against Zimbabwe (who remember drew with Ireland)
The shortest WC campaign of any nation...started on March 13 and ended on March 17.
South Africa in its warm-up match vs Ireland was also 91-8 but put up 192 and won the match. This is what's expected of nations with 60 plus years of cricket history.
For Inzi it is OK to lose. I agree but only after you put up a effort.
