Nice topic. I'm actually one of those women who don't intend to work when i'm married unless i'm in a situation where I 'need' to work for financial reasons.
When I was younger i'd always have this fire in me to get the furthest I could career-wise. Things are different now. To be honest being a housewife does not sound like a bad option, it sounds appealing. I dragged my education on so that I could be a student forever and not work and when I think of working it does not seem all that. I'm doing my PGCE on top of my masters just for the fact that if I ever wanna work when I'm married i'm qualified to actually teach children in my own home and give tuiton to them instead of going out to work.
I know money equals power but hey I like to be pampered, and besides spending someone else's money is more fun;)
