Because not everyone is dying for a child. For example: there are plenty of people who are literally dying while trying to come to the U.S…..legally or illegally. Yet I know plenty of families who voluntarily refused to immigrate to the U.S. despite not having a luxurious life in their native country. Yes, plenty of couples..women…out there would do ANYTHING to have a biological child. However, there are women out there who simply don’t care that much. Everyone has different priorities.

Sorry Paheli, normally I agree with you on most things, but not in this regard. I know those families too who don’t want to immigrate and guess what? They refuse to immigrate by simply not applying for visas, or entertaining education/jobs/rishtas outside of the country.

Getting pregnant isnt’ the same thing. Like I said, I support and respect someone who doesn’t care for having kids and IS RESPONSIBLE ABOUT IT. aka birth control, abstinence.

Carelessly having sex and getting pregnant and then aborting it because they just don’t want it, nope, that’s totally wrong.
