However on a serious note have you considered that he possibly called you those names to hide his feelings for you? after all we know boys are immature and incapable of expressings their feelings in a mature manner...

You know the whole boys pulling a girls' pigtails and being mean to her on the playground...as their way of showing interest? Yeah some boys don't grow out of that.
I do believe in karma....but I've always wondered why it takes longer for some people to get their comeuppance than others....and why more and more people have to suffer/become victims before justice is finally served.

I hope the only reason to turn this rishta down was not that he teased you ? Student life is different , people tease others just for fun , they do not mean it. Or did he meant what he said ?
If he was mean then , now he feeling guilty and wanted to make up for all the heart ache he might have caused you .

Also, if she "begged" for your rishta...then is it because her son was really pushing it? Which would mean he had feelings for you.
Good thing you turned him down. Hopefully he's learned his lesson...or maybe not. A part of me wishes you could remind him of his juvenile ways...so he'll be more careful in the future. (I can understand elem/middle school behaving like this....but guys in a university).
