The best thing to do is ask everyone what they want, cause usually what happens is they re shy to tell you big stuff so if you keep on asking they'll just name something small. It's a win win situation for everyone, they get what they asked for, you spend less, and when someone asks what they got you they can say this is what I asked for and this is what I got!
