I read in some interviews that she decided to teach her kids her and her husbands first name because of an incident: they were at a picnic and a little kid got lost. they had a hard time finding his parents because all he could identify them with was “mommy and daddy.” Smart move I think.

Sara…i know a lot of parents who teach their names to the kids. I myself have been trying to connect R for Rabia for my toddler…he already knowns Abu’s name. But the ton this kid uses is just disrecpectful. It not even the name calling part i dislike…its the “listen listen listen…”

I just think if you allow this type of behavior at age 3 or 4…how will you stop them for acting like this in their teen years. Just my opinion. I remember my uncle teaching my younger brother bad words…and every time he used them everybody would laugh. Once he was older it became a habit and my mom couldnt stop him.
