Given that both parties are understanding, considerate, loving, rational and are (were) not involved elsewhere, all arranged marriages would evolve into a relationship based on deep love. Having said that, sooner or later, 'the plateau effect' would take over most love marriages.
Not all 'arranged' couples fall into a bond based on deep love after marriage, sometimes the love never comes and they just end up indifferent to each other. Also, The 'plateau' effect is equally likely to happen in arranged as in love marriages. One other thing I've noticed is that when one partner dies in arranged marriages the husband often gets remarried quite quickly whilst in the cases I've seen where the couple had a love marriage maybe 30/40 odd years ago the husband often does not remarry at all. Obviously, love marriages in those days weren't as accepted as they are today so I suppose if a couple went against the societal 'norm' to be together all those years ago there could be a stronger bond.
