Love marriages are overrated, and most people have a flawed understanding of the idea as to know why they want a love marriage. They're in love with the idea of love, and would deliberately ignore many a good proposals owing to that reason. What one should look for, is a considerate and harmonistic relationship based on mutual respect. Love or arranged, in that sense, does not hold much value.

Love marriage for sure. I could never have an arranged marriage. It just doesn't feel natural to me.

Plus love marriages are just more romantic...theres always a romantic story behind how the couple met and hooked up etc.

Given that both parties are understanding, considerate, loving, rational and are (were) not involved elsewhere, all arranged marriages would evolve into a relationship based on deep love. Having said that, sooner or later, 'the plateau effect' would take over most love marriages.

well i dunno if this thread relates to guys too or not ..but id prefer a lil bit love first to explore then arrange it then continue to love after e after but in the same marraige :smiley:
