Girls get soo much clothes, flowers..more clothes, shoes..paranda’s etc…what do the bride’s family give to the groom..?

they also give clothes i guess...like for walima n ofcourse couple other suits n shalwar kameezes 2 but ya the trend is givin more to girls :D

any precious proper branded wrist watch,
nice cuff links,
shaving set,
again proper branded nice shoes,
any suit,
shirt,
ties have a variety,
jeans,
t-shirts,
night suits,
undergarments,
shalwar kameez,
kurtas,
khara pyjama,
choori daar, and alot more !

the list is quite long...

Another thing guys get are pens..which I think is so retarded. I mean a pen? for like $300

These days, an iPod or some such product is also popular.

Since their side made my clothes, we had his clothes made for the wedding day.

It depends on who you are -- in our family we did. That's the tradition.

Though, whereas my clothes were a complete surprise, we let him pick what he wanted and we paid for it.

At my wedding, he got the ring, about 7-10 sets of clothes (dress shirts and pants), ties, valima suit and shoes, a shalwar kameez (he doesnt wear them much often), a couple of sweaters i think. I THINK that was it but ofcourse i got wayyy more in terms of jewellery and clothes. :D

Uff undergarments and shaving-kit? Seriously? sigh poor grooms...I'm dreading shopping for myself, my mother cuz she can't travel...my sister cuz she has to be by my mother..and my fiance too!

There is loads of stuff..ring..watch..cuff links..suits..shirts..shoes..also clothes worn on the wedding and valima..plus stuff for several generations of the family.:D

In my family we give the grooms sisters, mother and father stuff as well like clothes and gold bracelets/rings/watches.
to the groom we give
Branded Shoes,
Branded Watches,
Branded Kurtas,
Branded Shirts,
Dress pants,
Ties,
un-stitched fabric for the suits,
three piece suits,
Ajraks,
Sindhi Topis,
Perfumes,
Shaving kits/ bath sets,
Cuff links...etc
and clothes/shoes for the events as well like sherwani, suits, shalwar kameez, ajrak etc.

Grooms get so many Branded/ Designer guy stuff as well - they have nothing to worry about.
