What do you girlz do when you have your period and your brother or dad asks you if you prayed? 
I mean it is really embarrassing if you go tell them that you have your period! They alwayz ask me especially when I have it 
I just tried to ignore them but guess what! it doesn’t work! they follow me and keep on asking me until i tell them ! 
just wondering if that happened to you girls and what did you do?

i usually just say "umm yeap all done..."

^ hunni they don’t! My bro aksed me and I said I can’t… he is like why? such a stupid question….. I just said “I have my period” then he gave me a weird look and left without saying anythiing… i kinda felt bad

Well most of the men I know are smart enough to not ask a grown woman (in this case, someone whos physically past puberty) if she's prayed or not.
But since this si a real "dilemma" for you, ill tell you what I did. When i was a lot younger, 11, 12 etc, my mother instructed me to just say that I did read namaz even if I hadn't (only if it was due to periods). However, I don't feel that there is ever a good reason to lie about namaz, but then again I' haven't been faced with this in a long time. So.... i guess just say yeah u did just to let them leave u alone

ooh i forgot to ask, how old is ur brother? if he’s younger than you, then it’s forgiveable. but if he’s a lot older and still bugs u then he’s an idiot…

Aren't they educated enough to KNOW it that women have to go through this on monthly bases and are told not to pray while menstruating? Doesn't your mom answer them for you? And you don't have to say "I have my period", you can just say that you are not clean enough or you have to take a shower before you pray or something like that.

once i went to the washroom and turned the water for a while and then came back and just stood there in my room and my dad was like r u done praying… i just lied and said yep! ahhaa!
they dun alwayz ask me…

he is not an idiot dumbooo! I didn’t pray so often when i was younger… so they alwayz remind me and now it is kinda their habbit which iam not so fond of!

iam not a women they are very well educated to know that… as i told sara516 that I didn’t pray so often when i was young… so they alwayz reminded me to pray and now it is their habbit

Please excuse me for calling you a woman. Woman, girl, same thing. The point is that girls after the age of puberty have menstrual cycles just like women before the age of menopause. Reality check for your family: Now you are not a little kid anymore! They need to stop reminding you because you are an adult now and it’s your job to pray or not to pray. Common sense that they are lacking here.

I didn’t say he was already an idiot, just that if he’s older and educated, then he IS an idiot for bugging you. but if he’s very young, like still in junior high or something, then its okay u can forgive the immaturity

When I was younger I used to wonder why for a couple of days every month my mother didn't pray.
I'd sometimes ask her why she wasn't praying and she would tell me that it was because she had a headache.
Because of that, for years I thought that having a headache excused you from having to pray !

I heard "headache" is a valid excuse from a lot of other "duties"...
