What do you do when you see a stranger crying in places like malls,etc?I don’t know whether to ask them if they’re okay or just to leave them alone. What would you do and why?

I wonder why they're crying. I don't approach them though. I just leave them alone.

Yeah never seen a grown up crying. If they were I'd call them a crybaby.

Sometimes people cry at hospitals in front of strangers. I saw a girl crying once in an hospital and I went up to her and asked her if everything was okay.

I get sad. And also realize that people have problems too and I should be thankful. I try to console them in my head:(

One time my roommate girl was crying in a common area. Never seen any stranger cried like this before. And when she told me about list of problems...just gave her courage to stand up to her problems. Sometimes, people who cry...need to talk to someone about their problems. Someone who is not going to judge them nor hold any biasness. It helps them..!

Never seen anyone crying yet.
If i do see anyone crying, i will ask them if they are ok and if they need any help :k:
But i do find it difficult to console crying adults.

Never seen any adult crying like that (except in hospital). But I think I would just leave them alone...

I once came across a girl about my age crying in the locker room at work. i was unsure of what to do so didnt say anything at first but took my jacket and bag from my locker. Then before leaving i asked her if she was ok, stupid question i know but didnt know what else to say, she nodded yes, didnt say anything. i figured she wanted to be left alone, so gave her a sympathetic smile and left.
personally id prefer to be left alone if crying in public, but id also make sure i was somewhere where no one would see me crying.

feeling bad will be the instant reaction. I anyhow aint sure if I would be trusting their tears and walking over to them and ask to help.

I have never seen an stranger adult crying in public. If I see someone crying I will assume that they have gotten some sad news therefore I will leave them alone.
It can be a scam too to make you talk to them , to gain your sympathy and make you give them some money.
