Several peeple have been caught with drugs in their bags, and they didnt even know who put it there 
peeple put the stuff between you stuff, and when your at the destination airport they steel the bag from you .
I only heard it,
you mean I wont even be able to stretch out and take a nap for fear that someone will stuff coke in my bag!!
if u have 5 hours in singapore airport u can actuaaly go for a free ride across the city from a train that operates from the airport. when i was there i slept a bit too much so i dint have 5 hours left so they dint let me go 
so instead i just spent the time makin prank calls to the airport security

Or as prex said that the best way to kill time is just to window shop. Singapore changi airport has a small botanical garden as well located at an open air space usually used by smokers to puff.
Imgain 14 hours in UK, and 12 hours in Hong Kong. I got through the time by reading magazines, visiting all the duty free shops over and over again. Don't forget to bring along snacks, airport food is rip off.

belle, I remember last time my cousin made me kebab sandwiches and I was happily munching on them even after I arrived at my destination. (they still tasted good!)

I had to spend 5 hours alone at Istanbul Airport. I tell you: THAT WAS HORRIBLE!
On top of that: Tabeeyat bhi kharaab ho gai thi.

They have these really sh!tty pc's in Karachi airport that allow you net access for 30 min slots (but you can carry on for hours).
Really good service and its completely free - helps pass away hours (or days!)

Yep i had the 14 hours experience at the Dubai Airport....Got really really crazy...& in the end started talking to each & every of the staff members at the airport....to kill the time.... some how....Do try to get out of the airport...if the stay is during the day time..
i have had some terribly long transits many times too. sometimes almost near 24 hrs.
if the transit is not very long i usually just visit the duty free shops and try out the perfume and stuff.
if the transit is very long i usually find a nice desi female to sit with and chat to 
at some airports like heathrow i love just sitting there n observing the people around me. especially the sikh families with lotsa kidz :Pagri:
waise at heathrow there r places where u can take naps and at dubai airport too there r places where u can 
man i miss travelling
have fun catty. and dont be scared of sleeping. it’d be nice if u find someone good to pass time with who could also watch over ur stuff while u sleep. and yeah, whatever u do, dont have any hand carriage except a necessary small handbag.
