What Do Jinns eat & Drink?

Re: What Do Jinns eat & Drink?

I don't wish to drail this thread further with 'INS' therefore I said I don't need anymore details. Anyhow thankyou for your comments.

Re: What Do Jinns eat & Drink?

Jinns are definitely a different group than humans bcoz Quran while referring to both groups at a place uses different words 'Ins wal Jinn'. Moreover, there composition (Fire) is different than humans (mud).

Re: What Do Jinns eat & Drink?

Please note that even though I am responding to individuals but all are welcome to participate.

Dear muqawwee, thank you for responding. Let us take your idea further. If jinns are another kind of creatures created from fire and iblis is a jinn and has a tribe then could you please share with me supernatural powers satan has? Is there any place jinns cannot travel to in heavens and the earth?

Please see 15/17-18, 37/7-9, 67/5, 72/8 etc. Could you or anyone else explain what are these verses about? According to the quran JINN and INS interact eg 2/102, 26/221, 72/6 etc.

Jinns have supernatural powers and interact with humans, this is what people usually believe but I need to know if I am correct in assuming what I stated or are there any people who disagree with my assumption?

So please respond as you see fit so that we could take this discussion to its proper conclsion through help of each other.

regards and all the best.

Surah al jinn 72

Re: What Do Jinns eat & Drink?

I found this book ‘Jinnat ka post martem’. It deals with magic, jinnat & satan with reference to Quran & Ahadis. Page 321 of the book deals about food of Jinnat.

@Mughal1 Chapter 11 of this book deals with most the questions you raised.

Re: What Do Jinns eat & Drink?

Thank you dear muqawwee but this book does not deal with issue of supernatural powers attributed to jinns beyond the earth. Also do jinns also breath air because they do in take food and drink? All qualities told about in the book are same as in humans. Satan is also earth bound or is he able to be anywhere in the universe? Do jinns travel to heavens and are they beaten back by use of shooting stars?

My main problems is all creatures humans or others with attributed supernatural powers eg prophets, saints, jinns, angels, spirits etc etc.

In short I think the quran has been grossly misinterpreted either by ignorance or by make beliefs or may be even deliberately due to vested interests of various parties.

So I want such people to come forward as think that the mentioned entities do have supernatural powers. I want to know what evidence is there for them to support their such claims.

I do not think there is anything in the quran against real world realities. I think all stuff people attribute to the quran is just their own self made. The discussion will become interesting if such come forward and we could have some educational discusion.

Thanks all the same, God bless and all the best.

Re: What Do Jinns eat & Drink?

I don't believe in superpower of saints, pir and fakirs i think most of them give islam bad name.

The jinns is not our business, they exist as allah(swt) mention them but human try to much to interfere with jinns is dangerous game in my opinion.
