Peace Mirch Bhai! according to some scholars, jannat are present with us whenever we eat anything. If we read ‘Bismillah’ before start eating then on every single bite, Muslim jinnat take a bite (eat with) with us and if we don’t read ‘Bismillah’ then the non-muslim jinnat (shaitan) eat with us.

The hadith quoted by brother teggy clearly state that the Jinnat do eat.
Try not to consider jinnat same as angels as I believe angels doesn’t required means of sustenance perhaps jinnat do.
