You can buy coal at any large grocery store they keep them with bbq, sometimes I cheat and buy liquid smoke. I dont think there is different smell from here to there.

We have a chaotic household and everyone eats at a different time so we can’t really present the food

You can easily buy coal from hardware store or super/grocery stores..

Did some alloo keema, Kashmiri daal n chawwal and bhindi.

Then we eat for a few days. I have to make separate dishes for kids, Harris eats a bit desi but needs to have some pasta and western food. Plus all cooks at the same time.

Not really, five days in fridge is a okay. I eat leftovers for days. We normally dont get sick. Just make sure food goes in fridge right away. we also freeze stuff and its good for months.

I have some friends coming over this evening and dinner is not *exactly *halal so fair warning 
. It’s one of my dear friends favourite dishes though and the kiddo helped bake the cookies so very proud of that!

I was going through these food pics and mysterious my sleep disappeared.. vaisy i do not eat bhindi, kadu, tinday, ghiya and other siblings of these vegs, but would love to taste your allo keema and daal chawal. ( I hope qeema is halal
