heyy guyz, i have been looking around lately on Best Buy, for a camera. I love photography, so i wanna buy a digital SLR. And i know i want a canon, but i don’t know which one. My price range in $600 to $700. Can you guyz give me ideas which canon’s are the best. i’m thinking about this one Canon - EOS Digital Rebel XSi 12.2-Megapixel Digital SLR Camera - Silver - 2757B001.

I bought one, I wanted canon too(big brother had it)
But ppl at blacks told me nikon make their own lenses. So I bought it.
For now I have just the lens which comes with camera, Once I learn a little , I will get a better lens.
Lens it self start from around 200$.
plus a bag to carry CAM/storage-chip/uv lens and stuff.
Its fun, you should get one quickly. (Save some money for lenses)

dil ka paper: well bhai saab app kis jahan main rehtay hoo...yeh digital zamana hai.

I had to telescopes, strong ones. So I am very concerned about having strong lens.
I am planning to take pictures over the weekend. If nice I will post them.

How important is to have image processing software on the computer?
or you just dump pictures on then PC as a finished product ?

softwares....hmm...well these days u can get photoshopping software on any computer. but i dont use much these days.
these days i try to play with its lightning or different modes option present in my camera. otherwise if i really wana use something then i try to use "Crop" option, or play around with its exposure.
ps. become a member of flickr, or shutterfly, or download picasa....i mainly use editing option on flickr, or i use adobe photoshope...but very rarely...n i find editing tool-option on flickr.com a very helpful tool...cuz then u dont need to download or open n then render any photoshop, corel etc

camera ki baat chal rahi hai tu i have a queestion.
i have a digital camera sony cybershot...jab computer mein pictures dhek tae hain tu pictures bilkul clear aur color bhi bohot acha hota hai....laikin jab picture develop kara tai hain tu dim dim si hoti hain...i mean bohot different nazar aa ti hain...color bhi sahi nahi hota...why is that? is it paper quality or what? I upload my pictures to walmart photo center and then i pick them up hour

The reason I asked about software on computer is they gave me a software cd. I don't know what for. I haven't looked at it. Neither do I feel a need for it.
Plus each time a look at a book at chapters aabout Dcameras, they hane picture how to manipulate images using PS and stuff.
