OMG. started this ‘The diary of a social butterfly’ by Moni Mohsin, just to be relaxed from the tense narrative of ‘What the body remembers’. Its just hilarious. All about shallow aunties and their show off.

yes its amust read when you want to read something light. This series got two other titles. This one ends at December 2007 (BB’s assasination), the other two let us to the Zardari era.

Finished First Frost a couple days ago. The author left the book open in such a way that it leaves room for a third book in the series…and I look forward to it. Usually sequels far short, but she did well MashaAllah.
I am now reading The Painted…and so far…I really, really like it. I may watch the movie after reading the book. I am such a nerd.

Thanks, Reems. I will be done with The Painted Veil soon and have been searching for a book to read, so will look into them. If you liked them then I thibk might enjoy them as well.

In a way it’s a good thing that you got attached to a character. That means the book reeled you in and did a good job keeping you hooked.

its an ok novel (mother by maxim gorky) with some very nice and deep statements, but not a great book.

Just finished 'Looking for Alaska'. It is good if one doesn't avoid deaths in books.

he is a mathematics professor but writes deeni books on his own free time. writing deeni books is his passion. he writes in Urdu which is often hard to understand. he has written 5 books so far...alHamdolillah.
