he writes very well and has a point most of the time. however, firstly its a work of fiction, secondly its one side of the story. and i didnt read it to know what zia was upto. this writer is from our liberal league who call everything about religion a hypocrisy, on the other hand there are those who loves everyone who does whatever hypocisy in the name of religion, i'm from neither of them, and dont like any of them. but this book was a good read, most of the time i read for the sake of reading : )

i liked the way he makes jokes

yes, the book is good and introduce some historical characters. I didn't know many characters before reading this novel

me too, had only heard about general akhtar, vx gas etc...
i've already bought copy of "Afghanistan: The Bear Trap" by general akhtar who was one of the characters in this book, will read it soon
