I'm reading the complete short stories and novels by Saki and 'Portrait of the artist as a young man' by Joyce.

I finished reading Six Suspects by Swarup. Great read and I liked how the story lines came together in the end. The description of the suspects in their various lives in all kinds of positions in society is revealing.

Now I'm trying to figure out what to read next. I still have two excellent library books left, I ordered some more from the library which I'll probably pick up today. All books I've been planning to read for a long time, some of them have been on my to read list for over a year. So I'm quite excited to get started and it's such a nice "dilemma" to choose which one I'll be reading next. ;-)

I finally finished the 5th of the Game of Thrones books. I am going through withdrawal. How long do I have to wait for the next one? :crying:

My daughter wants to start reading that series too. We couldn’t find the first book in the library, so she’s still waiting.

I’m reading a fascinating book called ‘Great House’ by Nicole Krauss. Mine is a library book in Dutch. It’s difficult to stop reading it and do my chores, etc. It’s mysterieus and touching. Several people owned a desk, the history of those people is compelling. I’m getting a picture now of people to whom it belonged and how the current people got it. Well, my description might not sound very interesting, but the book really is!
