Re: What are you reading?

Awesome book. very depressing though.

I've been meaning to read 'The Particular Sadness of Lemon Cake', it looks really nice. I have a whole pile of books next to my bed actually, just going through a list!

Re: What are you reading?

Re: What are you reading?

I tried reading it and gave up after few pages.

I should be reading molecular biology of the gene or genes xi or developmental biology or genetics. Or any kind of scientific published articles :(

BUT I have so many other books that I wanna read that seem more interesting like one day or the kite runner. :( They're untouched on my shelf. I'm leaving them till after my January exams! :)

A Painted House*John Grisham (Author) *
Novel from John Grisham, a story inspired by his own childhood in rural Arkansas. The narrator is a farm boy named Luke Chandler.

What a amazing story, I was a farm boy back home in Sargodha, relate so much with it...Once started reading couldn't out it down!!!!!

Cromwell read it, Napoleon Bonaparte carried his copy into battle with him, and Adolf Hitler claimed to read it in bed. The Prince is the first realpolitik treatise, the first non-idealistic guide to statecraft - and one of the most hated and maligned books in the history of the world.

on serious note, if you can read Italian easily you will love it, because then you can save yourself from the crappy translation. Same goes for The Divine Comedy by Dante.... what a masterpiece.. Each canto in original language is like came from heavens. truly it's called the divine comedy, certainly the greatest piece of literature ever written.
