Yes Maulana Ashraf Thanavi was the writer of this book.

Loserni kaheen ki. And on top of that, the author was praising her and saying, “wah, wah, jab woh apne gunahon se tauba kar ke uske pas laute ga tou uski kitni qadar kare gay. Subhan Allah”. Or something to the similar effect. As if it’s a great treat that she should look forward to.

I think I'm going to start Villette By Bronte
I've got such an unquenchable thirst for a good book these days.

Re: What are you reading?

One of the books I finished recently was 'The Literary Guernsey Potatoe Peel Pie Society' or something of that kind, I'm not sure if I remember the title well. It was very touching, funny but also sad and tragic. It's a novel of letters, I wasn't sure if I would enjoy it but the concept worked really well here.

Re: What are you reading?

Recently finished 'The Fall' for the umpteenth time. <3 Albert Camus.

Good book - keeps you intersted the ending makes you think hain? hawww!!!
read it in one sitting literally; the plot seemed slightly inconsequential actually

Re: What are you reading?

Okay I finished reading it. I liked the fact that it mostly covered the social aspects of partition and not the political aspects of it, as most books/novels of that era do.

And Yeah I also went, "hain? hawww!!" at the end lol
