So what are you doing to save the planet? Don’t be shy. Write down whatever you do, even it’s a small thing.
What I do?
I mostly walk to the store although I do own a motorbike(saves gas)
I walk to the market for my weekly groceries and I take a reed basket, though I still bring a lot of polythene(plastic bags made of polythene) back home.
I refuse polythene bag when buying something, if I can hold whatever I’m buying(comfortably) without it.
Don’t use the Air Con a lot. Didn’t use it all this past summer.
KESC helps too by cutting our power for 6-8 hours everyday.
I take the bus almost everyday. The days I don’t take the bus, I ride my motorbike. That’s still a lot more fuel efficient than a car. That means less CO2s.
That’s what I’m doing. But it isn’t all me, KESC and being stingy help a lot too.
Oh, I try to recycle as much as I can.
I also don’t get plastic bags if its an item or two that I can hold in my hands.
I used to take the bus to uni but now I’m lazy and I drive everywhere.
I have started walking to pick my kids up from school…it’s a little under 2 miles each way
Try to use as many “green” products and I can for cleaning
We just purchased a hybrid car for my husband after his car was totaled earlier this year (2102 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid)…it’s amazing how little gas that car runs on!
A lot of CO2s were emitted during the manufacturing of that car. Your husband should keep that car for at least another 10 years to offset those CO2s. Aside from that kudos on walking to pick your kids up. You’re getting some exercise, teaching your kids not to rely on cars too much and saving the planet
Ik teer se teen shikar
You should try to wean yourself off driving. Might even save you some greens(or whatever color currency you have). How about starting with taking the bus to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then you can take it to the whole week. I guess the weather doesn’t help either
If it’s too cold now, try starting when the temps rise a bit. You’d save on gas and maintenance, all while saving the planet
Been recycling for 13 years - though recycling not mandatory. Recycle everything almost

I walk to school now, yay me but its only a 10 min walk. :D
Work is half hour to drive and an hour if I take the bus. I don't mind taking the bus except I have to leave much earlier and most days I don't have time to take the bus in between school and work. Only half hour window. :( BUT I should walk to places close by that I don't walk to.
