why would i care to save the planet when our superpowers [both economic and military] are bent upon destroying it. our input in polluting the environment is probably less than 10%...so, what are those 90% polluters doing? kia Khayaal hai?

West is culture of traders. Military (when miss used) serve their interests.
What those traders depend on ??? its you KKF... they are powerless in-front of you. You put them in power and you can put them out of power too.

Being Muslim one would assume that we are familiar wiht our power as individual and also we were introduce our role as little part in big machine too.

I don't ubderstand " our input is less than 10%" part. Who is we here? And who is they? The west?

  1. mostly vegetarian (95%), try for local and organic
  2. only buy sustainable fish, meat
  3. recycle
  4. compost
  5. use energy efficient light bulbs
  6. only buy energy efficient appliances
  7. programmed thermostat so only heats when we are at home
  8. full loads of laundry

  1. Air dry laundry
  2. Reusable shopping bags
  3. environmentally friendly cleaning products (I want to start making them mostly from ingredients at home- anyone have any recipe?)
  4. short showers
  5. Low VOC paints
