I have heard them referred to as ‘saeen’, though they may have other names as well. They are in a world of their own. Its true that all of them are just frauds, and they are usually found around mazars and astanas. I have seen a couple in Lahore. They usually recite incoherent stuff, making it seem like they are talking to someone invisible, have fake blood smeared on their clothes, and usually carry a knife made of wood, also smeared with blood.
