Hey does anybody know how much it would cost to get a dress made by HSY Studios? I really love their stuff but I don't want it too expensive!
they quoted me $6000 canadian for one of their lehengas... i think they're hideously overpriced.

wth is that!!!!!! I think they're out of their mind.........I get it they try to speak English with everyone and whichever customer can speak Engish well cause they live outside of Pakistan are overly charged

well if they're gonna charge me a rediculous amount for just one lehnga then I might as well go to a non designer place.....i'm not gonna be stupid and spend all my money on one dress

^ then the trick is when u eneter the shop just make sure u look nothing like a person from abroad and should look typical pakistani and when they speak english un se kahna bahen ji app mujh se humari qoomi zuban main baat kar lien kyoun k main abhi app ki tarhan english nahin bol sakti

hi frnds,,the topic is abut outfits n designers,so any1 can plz tell me that wat could b price of a gud party wear frm designers like maria b or hsy??dress that should look like really from designer n diff but party or shadi type function wear.so range of their(designers outfit)?

true they'll probably act snotty with you and try to act all smart with you and in that case i'll probably lose my temper and blurt something out lol

I think they're gonna be really expensive but if you're willing to pay then I think the prices would range from $300 to $600 ......i'm not exactly sure

but be warned that the shipping costs can be anywhere from 100-200 dollars =\

I was in karachi a few weeks ago actually...I went to see quite a few designers for my brothers wedding and one of them was Nudrat Shahid. I remember visiting the Forum Shopping centre and seeing a poster promoting her designs.
We went to her outlet and saw a few of her bridal designs particularly ghararas, which were pretty for the price range she was quoting. She assured us that the kaam would be of the highest quality and would not fall to pieces over time.
a price ranged around 80000 - 100000 for the designs that we saw.

Party wear from Maria B costs between 22 000 to 45 000 rupees.
But most of the thing you can find for around 30 000 which is very good design. Maria B fitting is very goog. Really recommend.

oh wow that's overpriced......you can get a nice bridal outfit for just a lil more than 45 000
I dunno to me party wear for 22 000 or more seems too much :(

This is so true!! This slips my mind when I get heavy jorah's made. The cloth has to be woven so tightly that all of the heavy heavy kaam won't stretch it, or made the threads loose. I bought a ready-made lehnga for $250 ive only worn it once, and already it's falling apart because the fabric is such that the threads easily become loose =(
