Re: What are the fundamental beliefs of Ahmadis?
Read the verse. What is un-Islamic about it? It tells of the last days when final calamity will fall on humans and this will come suddenly and quietly like a thief comes quietly and without notice. This is something to be taken seriously instead of making fun of.
Some things are only described in Bible and not in Quran, such as some historical facts about Jesus and other prophets, some signs and indications of anti-Christ (dajjal) and events of the final days; Armageddon etc. Somewhat detailed account of last days is in Revelations. We should not just reject it unless there is something contrary to Islam.
A wiseman picks wisdom form wherever he can...a fool..well he lives in blissful ignorance until earthquake or taliban come around. :)
Now let me guess...the answer would be if it ain't in Quran we don't need it. Ok..to you yours...
