funnily enough, in Australia there's recently been 4 weddings in our circle of family/friends with the bride being 18-19...

we didnt do the whole 'engaged' ceremony but baat paki at the age of 20 and nikah at the age of 22! He's 1 year older than me!

I was 23 when we got married, he was 26

No "engagement" per say, just baat pakki the year before

Wow...it sounds like most ppl are still quite young. I got engaged at 28 and married at 29. Hubby is 2 yrs older than i am.

Marriage: im 25 and hel have turned 27 this year inshallah in september and wel b married in november.!

engaged: after birth
shaadii: they refused to marry! :cb:

NOTE: age wise, they are ONLY a few days apart!!! :smiley:

Firt engagement was not an engagement per say... she was my childhood love, our parents had decided that we would be together before we were even born.

We married when we were both 18... although cruel fate took away that part of my life.

I was never going to marry again until I reached 26 then things turned and there was no escaping fate...

Married:

Bride: just turned 28 Groom: just turned 30 (our birthdays are only 2 weeks apart)
