What a proud moment for Pakistan

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

Eidhi is respected by all pakistanis. What you are saying is, media is in the control of liberal facists so they promote malala but do nothing for Eidhi.
malala ko kaun ghaas dalta hai pakistan ma, except liberal facists?

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

If the west is hypocrite because they recognize Malala’s heroism but not Nabila’s. Then so are we. Because we have been honoring Malala with awards in Pakistan much before she was recognized by the west. She won the Pakistan national peace prize in 2011, civic courage award in 2009 and many more awards. How many awards have we given to Nabila?

For those who think she is NOT interested in politics.

I see another bomb cimoing Pak’s way, as usual…bred and groomed under the wings of the west. Like Benazeer*

jis ki lagam, us ka ghora… so we r just complying to our master’s commands. Humbly

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

Well done to her for putting the spotlight on an issue that needs to be addressed. But i think handing out a nobel peace prize to a 16 year old just like that seriously deflates the value of one and should only be reserved for intellectual cream of the crops.

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

What does peace have to do with “intellectual cream of the crops”?

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

the majority of nobel peace prize holders have been intellects/in academia. Thats been the general trend. The point is, giving a 16 year old a nobel peace prize when the average age of a nobel peace prize recipient is 62 deflates the value of it. It takes a lifetime of work to achieve one and handing it out like it came with a happy meal deflates its value. Im not for one minute discrediting the work she has done

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

What West apologists?

Hunh?

Malala is Pakistani. Aur average Pakistani Malala ko kyun ghaans dale ga? Apne girayban mein jhankna kisko pasand hai?

What do Pakistanis do for Edhi? He is a one man show. Is there anything you can say that the average Pakistani has done in appreciation for Edhi? Anything?

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

Shame on people like you.

What right does anyone have to stop her from dreaming? She is a human being like anyone else in Pakistan. You have dreams of your own and she has hers. Her dreams don’t have to be as mundane as “ek bara sa ghar, gari aur nau dass bachay” in order to qualify as acceptable to you. Not everyone is the same nor should they be the same.

Born and bred under the wings of the west? Hunh? Education is a western thing apparently. Taleem is not part of your deen. And anyone who speaks about education is too maaadran and amreekan.

Ain’t nothing wrong with what she said:

“This cause is never going to die. A day will come when every child, girl or boy, black or white, Christian and Muslim, he or she will be going to school,” she added.

There are about 120 countries in the world that have zero Nobel prizes on their credit, and Pakistan has two, and see how we treat both of those laureates. In contrast, we treat mumtaz qadri and Osama likes as our heroes, and Zardari and Sharif likes as our leaders. Is it any surprise that we are morally and mentally such a broken nation?

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

Malala Drama - Drama Malala.

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

Malala drama malala drama. Malala is being used. Poor malala supporters haha.

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

one has to admit that the NobelPeace Prize to Malala was politically motivated just like Obama’s and Menachem Begin’s. these people got Nobel Prizes for NOT doing anything.

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

thank you. i’m the ‘NEUTRAL’ umpire!

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

so Malala’s speaking out against Taliban who dont want girls going to school, even after getting shot in the head for it is nothing?

what is this political motivation you speak of anyway? lets hear it. who benefits from Malala getting the Nobel, and who loses?

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

I think the gun lobby loses?

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

there are millions other who have been shot for the stand they took and even lost their lives. how about them? are they gonna receive a Nobel Peace Prize?

the west gets all the benefits…they can show the world how in Pakistan education of girls is restricted. it’s far from the truth. that may be true in the Fata or KPK which is just a small area/population as compared to the rest of Pakistan where education is as free to girls as it is for boys.

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

Just because things were done a certain way doesn’t mean a different approach is inappropriate. Considering her tender age, the courage she showed is commendable. In fact it is mind boggling. Maybe the age factor worked in her favor - so young, yet so brave.

Re: What a proud moment for Pakistan

And each time we read the phrase “Malala drama” we realize the opposition she faced wasn’t just from extremists.

That makes her even more special. If that is possible.
