What a piss take ...

I just bought a load of low fat microwave meals that cost me a bomb, only to come home and realise that the regular (and cheaper I hasten to add) microwave food mum buys have half the calories of this diet stuff … what’s up with that? :hoonh:

Talk about misleading the public, I’m thinking of suing flipping Somerfields  Eejits.

that's the problem with u brits.. u're like living yesterday.. the low fat craze died two years ago.. it's time to check your carbs..

... and walk around with dog breath like most Amerricans? Forget that!

Low carbs may be a fad, but lowering calorie intake is still very important.

Low carb diets are stupid, pure stupid. Carbs are the only things that fill me up, I wouldn't even dream of giving them up.

I agree all this low carb stuff is BS. As long as you exercise regularly and eat everything in moderation, you shouldn't have any problems.

No1s answered my question yet.

Waleed, Mehnaz, Lezza, where the eff are you?

,

Alright alright, I heard you.

Just cos they are lower in fat doesn't make them lower in calories, and you still need to count both fat and calories if you are trying to reduce your weight. Plus the majority of low fat and calorie reduced ready meals have shockingly high sodium levels.

Stop being such a lazy bugger and cook yourself a proper meal, think of the money you'll save if nothing else.

Cow, thanx for your input :k:

Lezza, I get out the house at 7.30 and don’t get back till after 6, when do I have the time to cook proper food? Not all of us are part timers you know :snooty:

So the moral of the story is to starve myself, right? Stupid b@stard food, if only it didn’t taste so good

I get home after 10 and still have to cook, so you've got no excuse. Apart from laziness.

Back on topic though...... I would suggest limiting processed food to once a week purely to be more healthy. Fresh food provides a lot more nutrients that processed food and will therefore satisfy your appetite for longer.

But wasn’t it you who advised me not to eat so late in the night? :hoonh: When I come back I need atleast a couple of hours to catch up with the news, argue with my family etc etc etc. Plus our kitchen is fully booked 24/7 (the bunch of greedy bloaters we are).

I’ve lived on processed food for years now and it aint done me that much harm …

I said that cos I was fed up of you messing up the bed with toast crumbs. Not that you paid any attention.

oh shut it with the excuses. We all know how the crumbs give you cheap thrills when I’m gone

It's the closest you've ever got to giving me breakfast in bed. Selfish tart.

Insert: Maddy's comment about flying fcuks.

ss my dear simpleton .. they probably say only 2% fat now if that 2% is still 500 calories then r they really that low fat or low calories?

marks and spencers - count on us range is nice.
heathy, nice tasting.. bit pricey for bradford? you are from bradford?

PS: Atkins diet - low carb is good - i lost 1 stone in 2 weeks.. but its not something you could do forever. its good when you need to shift a bit of weight quickly.. afterwards your body craves everything the diet says you cant have. no fruit, no bread, no pasta no potatoes.. cant be good for you.. its crap. and sobi - the answer to bad breath? heard of chewing gum or do you still call it speg? :)

sadi.... watching ur carbs is important too....

coke n pepsi is fat free,,, but its full of sugars, i.e carbs... and alll excess carbs get stored as fat... so u gotta watch both fats n carbs....
and to reduce that fat arse, no carbs for u before going to bed :p
