he got angry on her and said why u dont like westren cloth ?u r so paindooo..whats wrong wearing westren cloths.even u need to wear these cloth in west .
by the way they both live in uk but in diferent cities.living in uk she still wore eastern cloths …
i was just thking who doesnt wore westren cloth meant are they paindoo or something like this
It's a matter of personal preference. And feeling more comfortable in eastern clothes doesn't make you a Paindu. Is there a reason why your cousin doesn't like western clothes? Is she conscious of her figure and does she think they dont' suit her figure? I think that she should try experimenting with western clothes. If she prefers loose fitting jeans, then she can get loose fitting jeans. If she wants longer t-shirts, then she can get longer t-shirts. She can even get some long kurta-style shirts (tunics) and wear them over jeans.
The fiance's reaction might be considered harsh by some people, but I think she should try wearing western clothes. It won't take long for her to get used to it. My mom wears shalwar kameez at home and wears western clothes when she goes outside. You cousin just needs to go shopping with someone who can help her buy western clothes that will suit her figure/look nicely......and with some praise and encouragment......she'll get used to it.
And tell your cousin to send her fiance a nice present of kurta shalwar and topi when HIS birthday rolls around. LOL ;)

redvelvet she is bit religious i asked her wear western cloths as she is born bred in uk and in west u need to wear westren cloths for shopping ,officce etc..but she said she dont like..she likes eastren cloths .by the way she has a perfect figure lol
may b she doesnt like males staring her...
hmm.. i don't think there's anything wrong with wearing western clothes, as long as you feel comfortable in them and are modest. My dad for exampe does not want me or my sisters to wear thight fitting jeans with short t-shirt or top. which i think is fine cuz i dont like it either. But nowadays there is alot of variety in clothes, chinos, loose jeans, tunics etc. And i wear them to school and so on. And kurtis looks great over jeans.
So, there are alternatives! :)
Wearing western clothes does not make aperson unreligious, and neither does wearing eastern clothes make u religious. I’m very surprised that your cousin thinks like this despite the fact that she was bron and and brought up in the U.k.
Though saying that I knw alot of girls whose parents here dnt mind them wearing shalwar kameez no matter how tight it has been sown or how vulgar it looks, but have a huge problem when they wear western clothes even though it is fuly covering them, and yes they get stared by all creeps becos their kameezay are so damn tight!!
I also came across a boy who although is born and brought up here used to say to me in secondary school that it was wrong to wear western clothes becos they were made by kaffir
If she likes eastern clothes then that is absolutely fine and there is nothing wrong with it, ppl can wea rwhat they like, but all this waffle about religiousness and western clothing that ppl go on about is frankly rubbish!
personal choice is a right that every person has.
while it is true that wearing on a decent fitting and type of dress, given from one's fiance' is a good thing to do, as a gesture of acceptance and acknowledgement, but there is no need to judge the sentiment of the female, in this instance, simply because she did not adorn what she received as a gift.
a change takes time. it has to be a decent change and not a drastically different thing to adopt to, which is why someone will feel reluctant.
its depends on what kind of shalwar kameez you wear. you can be trendy/sophisticated, vulgar/over-exposed and also paindo/ proportion-less.
i see usually women dont chose their dresses wisely. they go for the embroidery or something in the so-called "fashion" and neglect the basic aspects of durability and refinement of the cuts, colors that only certain personality can carry.
the problem here is she dont even know how to chose her dresses wisely and the guy thinks that the easy way out is to get her wear western outfits. but the fact is if she dont know how to carry shalwar kameez then the chances are she will also wont able to carry any other outfit. whereas Shalwar-Kameez is the most easy dress that needs very little to be accessorized.

She can wear western clothes that are loose and decent. Even religious girls wear western clothes. They wear it according to their preferences.
