western cloths

Re: western cloths

who is he to tell her wat to wear in the first place? yeah hes her fiance and bal bla BUT i think there r certain things that U decide for urself like wat u like to wear wat u like to eat and others dont need to interfare no matter who! period.

If she is born and raised in Uk and has been wearing shalwar kameez all this time that definitely tells you that she doesn't need to wear western clothes. I have seen girls in Canada who have been living here for a long time and wear shalwar kameez or abaya with scarf. It's a personal preference and no one is going to tell her how to dress (perhaps, if she starts working). I am thinking that this is more common in U.K since there is a greater population of desis there.
As for her fiance, his behaviour reminds me of Amir Khan's character in "Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman." The title of the movie says it all.

It is not a question of what the shalwar kameez is like. Usually these girls who wear shalwar kameez in western countries have been out of fashion for a long while and wear simple suits (the very point of wearing it). I am not sure about what they look like in parties.
Also, mostly western clothes are getting tighter and tighter. Even if you get flair pants they are tight from the top; low rise waist is another problem. Even dress pants are the same. Perhaps, track pants are better but you can't wear them everywhere.
Guy's pants are the only ones that are really loose but girls can't wear them nowadays.

:omg: Sara you crack me up big time with such remarks…:omg:

:omg:…good one!!

hahhaha…:lajawab: what a suggestion. :lajawab:

I think she must be old enough to decide what she wants to wear herself :hoonh: Someone telling you their preference on what you should wear is one thing and theres nothing wrong with that. But someone insisting and crying about wanting you to wear what you DON’T like is quite another and is unreasonable.

u have alot of weird ppl around u
