Shay, I totally agree with you. It's just so silly the way some/most relatives back home are literally sitting back on their behinds and expecting their aunty/uncle/whoever to be supporting them all the way through. What kills it is when they're either too freaking lazy to get up and do something about it themselves OR when they simply don't care about doing something themselves.
And YES, it is perfectly sensible to be concerned about where your parents money is going.. because at times, as their children, you can see things that your parents can not see simply because they are the brothers/sisters/whatever of the relatives that they're sending money to.
