bazid khan will probably be playing in the first test since inzi will be missing, pluss he can be tried as an opener. For me the number 1 choice for an opener is salman butt and since wooler is trying opening combinations there is no harm in trying bazid khan. We have plenty of talented batsmen in the domestic cricket such as faisal iqbal. His chances of getting into the side as a middle order batsman is very little in presnece of inzi, youhana, younis and asim so i guess he can be tried as an opener too in future if we don’t see a good opening combination in WI series

Faisal Iqbal is a middle order batsman, and he has failed most of the chances he has been given so including him esp on top of order is only invitation to more failures. Faisal Athar on other hand has performed consistently in domestic as opener, he should be tried instead of Faisal in case Yasir doesn’t do well.
