I never understood the orgin of this phrase..KHASAM is Husband and KAHNI is to eat :S, how does tht make sense

I guess Urdu equivalent of Khama Khani would be Manhoos.
English equivalent would be cursed woman. I think this phrase has no real meaning or value it is used just to demean someone. It is all my theory it might be wrong.
