Pak-Afghan border can't be sealed (it takes two to tango -- US commander: can't seal border thread), but I think tribal areas need to be standardized, becoming A areas as per musharraf's definitions, so that they can get their own police. This would allow FC to become a specialized police for the border and investigating policing duties.

That will be really unfortunate if he is sacked for telling the truth. The black mail by Maulana Fazl and mqm should not cause any trouble to PPP government. Worst come worst PPP will sit in opposition. It is better to sit in opposition rather than making coalition with corrupts and terrorists. Let ANP or PML(N) takes over the government. Seriously.

Maulana halva has a personal issue with gilani, and mqm is just pissed at zulfi mirza for exposing their kartoots and target killers. they dont care about the well being of the country. why would zulfiqar mirza even mention MQM target killers if they didnt exist, esp considering the mqm is their ally.

It seems as if PPP will bend backwards to accomodate MQM (the party has a history of blackmailing), the political stints apart I dont think at present PMLN or ANP would want the government to fall.

I wonder how PPP can win the next elections, if one of their senior minister can not recite sura Ikhlas. I would prefer he should be handed over to Taliban for 100 chitars on his butt.

I don't understand why people from outside of Sindh are so much interested in Sindh. Why do they even bother?
Zulfiqar Mirza is an incompetent and failed interior minister. He is looking for a scapegoat to somehow hide his own personal failure. MQM is an easy target due to hatred many people have against Urdu speakers.
I am very sure that some MQM people are involved in target killings. But problem with people like you and Mirza is that you can not see beyond MQM's involvement. You fail to acknowledge that there are other players who are doing the very same thing as those MQM members.
Another reason is that there has always been a group of Sindhis present in PPP Sindh who despise Urdu speakers. If things could go there way, these people will massacre Urdu speakers and throw them in Arabian sea. This is why while MQM is an ally on federal level, these Sindhis can not bear Urdu speakers (not just MQM) sitting together with them.
But you outsiders of Sindh can not understand this situation. This is why I say that outsiders should leave Sindh politics. You better stick to Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif, Gilani, and Shujaat.
