oops! “I meant Weird Things People Do In Relationships”
Ok, I had to share this. It’s been bugging me too much and for too long. “He” falls asleep almost every time we talk (regardless of it being a night or day). I need to know how and why he falls asleep so easily. Now that he’s in Pakistan and I am here, we talk a lot over the phone and it happens so often that he falls asleep talking to me. His excuse…“bohat sukoon hai tumhari baton main”. My reaction..“IT’S CRAP”. I couldn’t be this boring…Yes, I do talk a lot. :halo:
Please share all weird things you or your significant other does.
hahahaha…but thats all because he’s sooo tired from work…his eyes go red and i know he wants to sleep…not coz im boring…but yeh i talk a lot too but i talk like i entertain a lot kinda talk…and i f i c him yawn……busss i start having a go at him…:D…but its all good…
u do know the time difference from here to PK ryt?..it myt be that and also coz its ramzan, men cant hold on for much longer after a full stomach all they can do is asleep…
‘baatein suqoon ki hein’…:hehe…dats a good one…im sure he dusnt sleep all the time…i know wen i used to talk to my husband over the phone before we got marreid and i wud hear his lil snores over the phone…haha…i’d get sooo angry…and then he’ll wake up with all the noise over the phone…and i wudnt talk to him but i had to get used to it coz he was sooo tired after work and talkin to me for hours did make him sleepy…
My hubby looks for every opportunity to have a little snooze...especially on Sunday afternoons and especially in Ramzan.....................No matter how much I convince him that I get lonely doing housework alone or just sitting there watching tv alone!
Another weird thing he does is keeps asking me "Is there anything I can do to help?" but he just stands there for ages when I've told him, by which time I've done it already!!
Oh and a WEIRD thing I do...I have to have him sit with me, or keep me company when I am doing housework, especially when I'm cleaning upstairs in the house/rearranging wardrobes/putting the laundry away. I won't let him help because I don't like the way he hangs the clothes/folds the clothes...but he just has to be there like a spare part!!!!
my hubby asks all the time if eh can help but i wont let him coz he splashes to much water wen waching up th edishes…
but i always want him to sit with me wen watchin tv or sit in the kitchedn whyl im makin food…i jus want him to stand there lookin at me makin food for him or talk to me wyl im bzy…
instead he wants to be upstairs on his laptop…like alll the time..
LOL wanabe.. LOVED ur answer.. i thought i was the only crazy one who wanted the hubby to be sitting and talking even when i was doing the dishes..:D.. its the best time .. and the weird thing He does is.. He doesnt forget whats in the fridge.. at three at night he can be like.. " YAR WO ICE CREAM RAKHI HAI NA".. i mean we just had a meal for 5... Full stomach and all... Just irritates me to death. but i guess thats what i love abt him too:D
I think hum sari aurtain yehi kerti hain .. It’s kind of stupid when you really think about it that you need your other half there all the time, but it feels like an obligation when you are doing it. It’s like if he loves me he would be okay sitting there watching me all day just doing things. lol. Call it weird womanly thinking, but that’s how we LOVE when we truly Love someone, right?
Why don’t guys do that? I think just having us around makes them comfortable enough to go about doing their own thing (watching TV, sleep, chatting with friends). I guess, they just don’t feel the need to interact as much as we do.
Well, she knows which topics keep me awake, so she can keep me awake whenever she wants, but then she might herself go to sleep after starting those topics.
^ ummm… I do not ever talk religion with him, it will put him to sleep and leave me half awake. I can talk intellectual but it will put him to sleep in minutes.
same sometimes i feel so sleepy when we r talking . bt dt is also due to the time difference hes in pak n im in uk . however when i was with him i used to fall asleep to when we were watchin tv or sumfin.

That is so cute! I wish I could fall asleep like that. I have to fake being sleepy to actually feel sleepy. When we used to be together, I would fall asleep, but only after daant or maar khaa ke from him.
The other weird thing that we do is that never does one of us go upstairs to go to sleep without the other..from the day we got marrie, we have always gone upstairs together....nobody else I know does that!
Even when we go to stay at mums it's the same.................
