so we have grown out of typical couple fights abt inlaws n stuff but today i felt like exploding..
he wants to invite his bro and family without letting me kno that they are coming. now i can compensate 6 ppl no problem but the root of the problem is my SIL .. his borther’s wife. she is quite a character.. likes to visit when she knows i wont be home.. and that is supposedly ok in his family. then she goes thru my closets. checks out which brands i use.. what stuff i have etc etc.. i mean how annoying can that be,. on top she likes to boss everyone around .. as soon as she walks in the house. tries to take over the kitchen and startsordering me around.. majal k aap disagree ker lain./ cose she will raise her voice and be mad..
it doenst stop yet.. she copies everyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy thing i do from kapray to every tiny detail in my life.. so tommorow i will be working and guess what.. she will do the routine check of everythin in my possession.. she once went thru my hand bag and saw my pay stubs .. i knew only because i knew my things were moved and i had forgotten the bag outside my room.
so she asks me how often do u get paid… and i m like whatt . so she goes oh i dont wanna kno how much.. just how often.

so i exploded at hubby choose between them or me…
really i said that. he was in big shock the way i exploded… but i had to . she irritated the heck outta me..

i felt so bad for him

which wasnt the issue but i only cook for ppl i love..

Ok--taking your word for it, she is annoying..but that's not fair for you to put your husband in that position that he should choose between you and his brother, especially over nosiness + bossiness.
Btw is she ur jethani or devrani (his older or younger bro's wife) that she behaves this way? Maybe it's just her personality, and it has nothing to do w/ in-laws/bhabhi/blahbla family issue?

closets are the ones with doors folding out when u open. i dont wanna ruin the look with ugly locks

okay those are simpe hin, u can change the knobs to ones that have holes in them, and then you something like this inside th closet so as the door opens, alarms go off
or you can just loop a small chain around the knobs and put a padlock, she will have to take the knobs off to open it, and there are ways to deal with that as well.
Well I think . Hina Appa is just having good craic with you guys , She is too bossy herself to boss any other poor woman
Now comes to ‘locks’ , she is right, most of the wall fitted wardrobes have no locks on them but hey no lock on your bedroom door ? I don’t buy it , what if some one ‘s kids step in and catch some one doing ‘ things’ ?
