Re: weird abayas

CUTE!!!! More like a wedding abaya :p

Re: weird abayas

how do u define abayas?

Re: weird abayas

this is HSY?

:rotfl:

!!!

That is a totally true representation of an abaya. Modest on the outside. Whore on the inside.

Yep, bring on the comments.

Re: weird abayas

I don't see what's so wrong about it. Anyway these type of fashion, they're not true fashion, i.e., something the average person would wear for the purpose it's intended. Just like those bra-saris you see, noone actually wears it. Rather, it's a representation of the designer's vision and fantasy. It's what some would call art :)

Re: weird abayas

hahahahaha...wuts the point of those???

Re: weird abayas

Re: weird abayas

 and what might be the representation of skimpy little clothes?? may be modest on the inside and whorish on the outside?

Re: weird abayas

^ you never know what is in a woman's heart.

Re: weird abayas

holy mother of pearl.

If my wife decided to walk around in these “islamic” clothes, I wouldn’t mind one bit.

Re: weird abayas

^ Esp since all the other guys could get a nice view of her ass and whatever else might be available for their viewing pleasure.

Re: weird abayas

Modest on the outside, and whorish on teh inside. If you’re wearing an aabaya that fully covers ur body, (not like those above) then u have every right to wear the skankiest sluttiest stuff, whatever u want underneath. Its annoying when someone tries to deem a piece of clothing “haram” or “unIslamic”. The photos above are a represnetation of the two sides every woman has in her, virgin-whore, whichever’s more appropriate at the moment.

Re: weird abayas

What's the point of wearing them then if you only wear a partial one?

Re: weird abayas

Well, noone really wears that kind of stuff. Anything you see in magazines or on the runway is strictly open to interpretation. You could take any one of these abayas and suit it to your personal needs, like you can have slits, but with fabric underneath, or not as low-cut or as many sequins on it....

Re: weird abayas

  1. It's anything, but abayas. More like cheethray (rags).

    1. It's not nice calling those who wear abayas as whores inside. I have a few friends who observe abaya and are very good Muslims, masha'Allah. Hence, calling those who wear abayas as whores inside is totally incorrect.

Re: weird abayas

Okay in this context, "whore" is strictly referred to style of clothing, i.e., skimpy/besharam/whatever you wanna call it. You can wear watever u want underneath an abaya and I don't c what the problem there is. Noone in their right mind is acutally going to wear those ripped up abayas, but when it comes time to design one, they might take thier cues on cut, color, kaam, etc.

Re: weird abayas

Well if it's in the context of how one dresses underneath the abaya, then its alright. Otherwise, if it's in the context of the personalities of those who observe abaya, then I would beg to differ.

Anyway, the preceding designs are a mockery of abaya.
