I have a gym at home. I do 20 minutes on the treadmill. 15 minutes aerobic another 20-30 minutes on weights. and then I use the stomach cruncher for 5 minutes.
I find it very hard becoz I get out of breath very quickly so often have to take small breaks in between.
it used to be like that for me as well, got tired very fast...i think increasing reps does help...it helped me, it was tiring and breathing was really hard(got a breathing issues) as well but slowly i got used to it...
how long are yr breaks?....i take 2minutes break between each set
ok i need to confirm that are you really a female? i wish i had that much weight at home… :*
for strength there are primary exercises for each muscle. Bench press for chest, barbell curls for biceps, shoulder press for dels/shoulders and squats for legs, always do these exercises in your workouts.
for strength you should always perform lower reps with high weights. 8 reps are enough for strength gains.
check this program its called stronglifts 5x5. its very good. every workout contain 5 sets of 5 reps..
there is a very good exercise for you overall core strength its called planks…
by doing regularly you can increase your push up strength, you can get strength in your back, hips and thighs.
wrestlers use steroids for quite a few reasons, one of the major one being that they wanna bulk up…you can lift more than 150kg without the help of steoids or anything related…i personally know people who lift 150kgs(some lift more) and they’ve never, not even once used steroids…unless if u’re telling me that drinking plain milk+banana+papaya+somthing bitter, and eating raw eggs() is being in steroids…
yeah i've tried a coupla times...directly from the thing...fresh...yukh!....others 2each morn....and from what i know raw egg's better...what you get in the fresh ones is not found in boiled ones....
hmmm no one can lift 150 kg IMO with his own power its just damn too heavy …how u know that person doesnt use steriods usually people dont tell they use them because they think other people will say u have this body because u used steriods n blah blah n besides there r many steroids for power n strength too in the markets
i dont know why i hate boiled eggs though my trainer says eat them
i got a brother who lifts 160kg and doesnt have anything except for ‘mum ke haath ka bana khana for a healthy body’..my old trainer used to lift 120kgs(quite a lot for a lady) a family friend lifts 160kgs as well…and nothing of the sort…
and i really dnt know much abt steroids, or anything of the sort…i just lift weights to get the strength…my only issue is to stop those muscles from being too visible:bummer:
tht reminds me to come back to the topic…i started with the treadmill…i havent started with weights, pushups and the other exercises in which use of arms is needed, as i strained my muscles while playing tennis…so am off for coupla days:hinna:…
ahh, are you genetically African? i thought you were Pakistani by genetics (or rather south asian).
hey here is an idea, why dont you ask you brother for advice, who is there with you and from what i see is very good strength lifter. it would be alot better.
what is your take on Creatine (supplement) its very good for muscle power, gives nice strength. give it a thought...
lol...whys that........its not like she is taking steroids....creatine is made within our own body naturally regardless of any training or workout but when we lift weight or do other endurance training, creatine (that is in our body) depletes so in order to cover that we need to supplement. if you train with weights then taking creatine is just like taking vitamins or calcium capsule.
