America’s hot topic is weight loss…what is going on in Pakistan regarding this issue. Are people more aware now than before. Do you see over weight ppl around you. Girls specially, are you dieting using (not eating) method or do you use proper nutrition and food facts.

In Pakistan, i think its not much of a problem for girls till they are married and get 3-4 children, after which they ballooon up and never ever reduce their wait. And then they blame the glucode infusion given to them during labour.

^ aHEM i think if u squeeze a baby trhough your vagina, they have every right to pack on 5-10 lbs, and should not feel guilty if they dont look like Heidi Klum or some Playboy model th second their baby comes out 
(not talkin 50-100 lb weight gain though :o)

from what i've seen, Pakistani girls stay thin because they dont eat much. Portion sizes are less than the average portion sizes in the US. However, what does contribute to their weight gain later in life is little or no mobility after childbirth (no extracurricular activities, they have servants doing everything for them). So, even though their portion sizes are still the same, its the lazy-butt factor that contributes to their weight gain. Its VERY easy to lose weight in pakistan if u are active since highly fattening junk foods are not a staple of their diets.
BUT then again...thin might not be essentially "healthy". u could be thin and still be susceptible to disease if you dont get proper nutrition.....which is again a problem with the diet in pakistan. although organic veggies can be readily available...they are seldom eaten in the "right" way and combined with too much oil and cooked too long.

^ HAAAAAAA... my cousins wife had a baby grl in October.. shes almost back to normal, xcept for a tiny belly.. her hubby (my cousin) has put on 30 or so pounds.. he's not even 25.. n he has the nerves to tell me "zarra kam khao.. lose weight.. smart hoja" :o
