Sleep early, you can probably get away with a cup of skim milk to cure those evening tummy rumbles.
Re: Weight Loss Success Stories
okay.. lets see if you beat this..
Jan 1st.. my total weight 193lbs
May 17... 168lbs
total weight loss.... 25lbs = 11.4KG's
btw:: started workout in Feb not in Jan coz of my finger injury.
Diet..
started at 1200 calories, it was a bad idea. upped my calories to 1500 in the next month. currently i am eating around 1800 calories.
workout.
current routine.
weight training.. 5x/week usually 45 mins.
cardio 4x/week 12 mins HIIT.
abs 2x/week.
others..
water intake 4-6 liters/day
green tea 2-5 cups/day
coffee 2 cups/day.
Cheat Meal..
yeah sure, there's been a cheat meal here and there. and i am not talking about having a chocolate or coke. i am talking about full buffet type cheat meal, like people eat on weddings..
PS:: it wasn't a success story, its the "during progress" of a success story (InshaAllah)
Do not eat after 7pm. Sleep early if you have tummy rumbles.
my last meal is usually at 11 at night, and i sleep usually at 12. i wanna feel full during sleep. body is already in starvation mode while we are sleeping. if you workout calories are still being burned during sleep. if you wont eat a good meal there a good chance you'll lose muscles.
Did you eat meals as well??
obviously... but eating that much fruits and vegetables just curbs my appetite.
Breakfast - two egg white and toast or bagel
Lunch - stif fry with chicken
Dinner - normal desi stuff
I have been surprised that I haven't dieted that much but kept up with my exercise everyday

Re: Weight Loss Success Stories
I found that the big secret (at least for me) to losing weight was small changes.
I didn't need to lose a whole lot, but those extra few pounds have driven me nuts over the years. I had resigned myself to always being a little bit chubby after trying this diet or that workout routine with no success. But since I hated giving up, I tried to give it one last go by trying the "baby steps" method of changing one small thing at a time. I was skeptical, but what did I have to lose, right? So one week, I started by walking a little further on my way to work. Then a few weeks after that, I started putting honey on my toast instead of butter. A few weeks later, I started using the stairs to work instead of the elevator. Then a few weeks later...well, you get the picture. And because I wasn't convinced that doing such small things would really work, I didn't even bother checking my weight. After about 3 months, I noticed that my clothes had gotten pretty loose. Still not convinced that doing something so simple could have produced results, I again skipped the weighing machine, figuring that my clothes had somehow become misshapen in the laundry. Another couple of months and small changes later, I found I'd gone down two sizes while shopping with a friend. I finally got on the scale and found that 10 lbs had disappeared. This totally gave me a new perspective. I kept up with cutting out unhealthy habits and work out much more regularly. I'm much healthier now and way happier with my body.
So the baby steps method works. Give it a try!

well good luck with losing 5kgs in a week.
are you consuming 9 whole eggs (with yolks)?
Re: Weight Loss Success Stories
No I don't like to eat the yolks...
Boiled egg with yolk 74 calories
Boiled egg without yolk 16 calories....so it's better not to eat....
Re: Weight Loss Success Stories
