AB @ dont get upset at this stage. BF ur child and take normal n good diet to fulfill ur baby requirement. after 4 months, put an effort of exercise and normal diet, exclude junk foods and u will be good as ur were at time before pregnancy.

Achieved targeted weight , which was 60 kg. currently now Im at 59kg. Hope to came back at 56kg soon. Insha ALLAH

Dear I gained. 30 kg during my pregnancy. Now , thanks to ALLAH, I achieved my pre-pregnancy weight and soon I will be back to my original weight (time of wedding) ![]()

Knjaved you are an inspiration. I so want to get to my wedding weight. I have been pretty good with my diet. Even managed to walk a few times.

2 things help me loose weight, first one is feeding my child and second is Im keeping fasts (rozay). Last year I was pregnant and didn't kept rozay so now Im doing it and it helping me a lot, with normal and healthy diet, roti omlete and salan in sehri n in aftari, I take fruit chaat / chana chaat and then roti salan. But on weekends I dont fast. Only in working days. (working mother :) )

I've started on the 5-2 diet and I think it's helping although I've not been on the scale yet.
I'm almost to my ideal weigh, I just need to drop another 2-3 kg and become regular with my pilates but I've become so lazy :(

i need to loose a lot of weight ,i had a Caesarean, but i cudnt bf my baby , wudnt take it despite many efforts. my baby is six months MA SHA ALLAH
i was also over weight before marriage.i still have to loose 8 kg to get to pre-pregnancy weight .
any ideas how to lose belly fat other than exercise like some herbal remedy etc .

Roojii dnt take any herbal remedies or pills. Weightloss is all about calorie deficit. Eat less and move more that is the only way, unfortunately ![]()

^Exactly! I think reading stories of people who have had successful weight loss stories are what helped as well. I was 20 pounds overweight before. Picking an exercise you enjoy a lot is important. Joining a Zumba dance class where there are other people that have a common goal of getting healthier for fun or do speed walking which isn't as painful as jogging can help.
The quick weight loss diets never work and if they work they only work for a few days and the person is back to gaining all that weight back because they weren't really thinking about making a life change when it comes to how they saw food.
Eating more veges and fruits, picking snacks that were tasty but low cal,deleting all the fattening foods from my life helped. You can reward yourself with a cup of ice cream once a month or every two weeks after you reach your goal weight but right now your body is thinking you're happy at your weight.
The low cal foods + exercise route is the way to go. It might take months to lose that weight but you will be at your goal weight long term instead of just for a few weeks like with fad diets.

thanx for the advise global gal and hmmna ,i see to be losing some of it although very slowly but the bell fat doesnt seem to budge:confused:

Hey so I am back here. I have lost all of 10 lbs and have been yoyoing with the weight. Have started exercise in earnest now. Today walked 2.5 miles carrying baby and over a hilly area. Feel sore but soooo good.
Will keep updating here.
