Ok I ‘ll try to keep it short and quick.

  • Only eat when you are hungry and Stop when you are full, never overindulge. It sounds simple, but takes lot of effort.

  • Our digestion goes with the sun, when the sun is at peak, our digestive juices are also at peak, and our digestive system is awake and active. So by that token, eat more during the earlier part of the day, eat very light meals when the sun goes down. As a general rule, eat your last meal three hours before bed-time.

  • If your metabolism is high, you’ll burn calories even if you are sleeping. Losing and gaining weight is all a game of metabolism. Some people eat a lot and still stay thin, thts because their metabolism is high, and vice versa. So don’t try to lose weight, try to increase your metabolism. Having said that, if there is a food scarcity, high metabolism can literally kill you. So think of the ways how you can increase metabolism, let your body work for you, don’t work-out for your body.

  • Eating with the sun is one way

  • Raw Apple cider vinegar with warm water also increase metabolism

  • Aerobic activities, like swimming, sports, house cleaning (vacuuming, dusting, scrubbing floor, etc)

  • Having lean muscle mass increases metabolism, fat mass has the lowest metabolism.

This is all I have for Now to add in this list, I’ll add more later. I’ll let them come to me don’t like to think hard. :)

*Eat the food the way it is intended, close to its natural state. For instance, orange is the natural state, orange juice is one step away, pasteurized orange juice is few more steps away. Some food do require little bit of processing, like from wheat you have to remove husk, and beans you have to soak and cook. A general rule of thumb, the less processing the better. Ideally, 50% of your daily diet should be raw, raw fruits, raw vegetables, sprouts, raw nuts and seeds, unpasteurized milk, yogurt, sun dried green/black tea. Raw foods are alive, they have enzymes, probiotics, active phytonutrients. Body has to do the least amount of work to digest raw food. When we cook the food, we kill its enzymes, the body has to use its own enzymes to digest the food. But it’s not good to abuse the system like that, body digestive enzymes deplete overtime. Buss is post ke liye itna hi kaafi hai .. Baqi bad mein !

  • Whatever physical activity you do, have a mind-set that “I am losing weight.” It’s called the power of intention. This power is highly underestimated. Let me tell you a little story. A research study was done to evaluate the power of intention in two groups of house cleaning maids. One group was told that the house cleaning type of physical activity can make them lose weight, the other group was not told anything of that sort. Surprisingly all the maids (not one or two) who were told that housework can make them lose weight, lost weight. Whereas, the other group did not show any change. I cant find any reference for this particular study, you have to take my word for it

  • Eat probiotics. Probiotics is a fancy word for live bacteria that is found in some food and also our digestive system. You might be wondering how are probiotics related to weight loss. Let me give you the connection, when we don’t have enough healthy bacteria in our gut, the fungal species (candida and co.) take over, they start proliferating. Fungal overgrowth in gut and other areas, make us gain weight, a lot of it. There are plenty of sources of probiotics, I don’t want to go into that detail, just make sure you eat atleast 1 cup of yogurt everyday.

  • Never skip meals. Whenever you/we skip meals, our body thinks there is scarcity of food/famine kind of situation, and it goes into survival mode. It slows down our metabolism, to keep reserves for unexpected situations. Even though we are domesticated creatures now, out DNA is of hunters and gatherers.

Hmm what else ….. Well I guess that’s it for today, will write more some other time.

Good Luck and dont get too hung up on numbers, like you said 20 lbs in 3 months. Human bodies are not robotic and mechanical, they have there own of doing things.

what are you eating, how frequently
how often do you workout, how long, what type

basically you have to figure out calories intake versus those burnt.

you should see a nutritional expert, but before that chart out for a few weeks what you ate, how much and your workout details.

many people also think that it could be thyroid complications, which you should have checked out, but more often than not, its a combo of your avg metabolism, intake and usage of calories.

thanx Restless thats some info.i'll try ur tips.plz advice me how to reduce fat around belly.i hav lost a lot n in good shape except my belly area.its not making any improvements instead with diet n excercising i'm losing fats on undesirable areas.
